LISON
Literary Society International is an online, non-government society of creative writers and literary scholars from Africa and world over with critical interests in the corpus of modern literatures of indigenous and English language expressions. An affiliate of Progeny International, it aims to harness, assess and promote the emergence of works of visionary and strong creative impetus in the genres of modern African poetry, fiction drama and photography.
Members of the international literary society participate in the forums, goals and objectives of the society which cut across boundaries and nationalities.
LISON provides an online forum for exchange of creative materials, critical essays and photographic images of contemporary cultures as a showcase to a world wide network of information and critical audience who cherish civilised values of qualitative craft and aesthetic.
LISON encourages cooperation and partnership with publishers, book distributors, advertisers, and literary societies of African and other English speaking nationalities.
LISON World Crafts and Sights (WCS) Photo Presentation Project reflect a global concern for the accountability of her nationals and governments for the preservation of the heritage, culture, environment and sensitivity of African multiethnic societies.
We usually request e-copies of book publications, photographic presentations of modern landmarks and cultures (in standard jpeg formats) in addition to book reviews and critical essays (in standard MLA formats) for review and critical purposes.
We also welcome financial assistance from donor agencies and organisations interested in the promotion and survival of modern ethnic arts and cultures but we do not solicit.
